This jacket is made of front quarter horse hide. the brand is windard 'quality outdoor clothing'
My Dad stopped by the salvation army to see if there were any 'steals' all of the leather was half price and he found this jacket; he was really hoping that it would fit him but it was too tight.
he brought it home and it fit me. the leather was almost 'crunchy' so we rubbed it down with saddle soap, and leather conditioner after that. the zipper still works and the only hole is a small rip in the lining; don't be fooled this is not a 'brand new vintage distressed jacket' its the real deal.
B-Mckne You all should start swimming 10 miles a week like i do then i would be able to share it.
Uncle Greg is so jealous of you, Blaine! Awesome jacket!
ReplyDeleteAunt M
It fits you perfectly...it was made for you!
ReplyDeleteAre you the dude or what??? I believe you guys made a silk purse from a sow's ear. Great Jacket. The Mike Phelps pose isn't bad either. Guess I won't be asking to borrow the jacket; can't do that scene. luv skk
ReplyDeleteI ripped the left shoulder when I bent over to tie my shoe yesterday. I am anxious to see how much it will cost to repair. Dad said he bought it, so i have to pay for repairs.
ReplyDeleteBummer on the rip. Your dad's economics sounds a lot like someone I know very well... Maybe you need to be swimming more, so the jacket will fit you also?????
ReplyDeleteI think that is the problem; my shoulders are too wide. I felt the jacket tighten up, i should've backed off then. oh well i will next time.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the day.
